Planning and practical questions
Choose a workflow with clear boundaries
Enquiry routing can assign incoming requests to the right owner; follow-up automation can support an agreed sequence after a customer action. Document the trigger, required fields, exclusions, and stopping conditions for the workflow you want to discuss. Identify where a person must make the decision and what happens if an integration is unavailable or returns incomplete information.
Plan the exception paths as well as the normal path
A useful pilot checks duplicate events, missing contact details, changed preferences, and a completed enquiry that should no longer receive follow-up. Decide who monitors failed steps and how the team can pause the automation. These are illustrative project types, not published performance claims.
