Prepare a brief for a useful quotation
List the pages, services, and functions you need, along with any existing website that will be replaced. Mention who supplies copy, photography, product information, and brand files. If the project involves integrations, name the systems and describe what information needs to move between them. Separate launch requirements from features that can be considered later.
Compare scope as well as price
A quotation should make deliverables, assumptions, review stages, and ongoing costs understandable. Check whether hosting, content entry, maintenance, and external subscriptions are included or separate. Share a preferred launch date and budget range so the proposal can account for practical constraints. Final scope and timing require review of your brief; the enquiry itself is not a booking or payment.
